Exmouth
Exmouth, at the mouth of the river Exe, is an excellent venue for windsurfers and kitesurfers. When the tide is in there's a large area of shallow water known locally as "The Duck Pond" and when the tide is out the seafront provides some excellent water with a sand-bar, though a strong current needs to be respected.
